NEWCare has an opening available for a Registered Nurse to fill a full-time Charge Nurse position.  (Part-time inquires are welcome as well.)  Duties of a Charge Nurse include:

*Assess and monitor skilled nursing facility patient health problems.

*Administer nursing care.

*Implement care plans and maintain medical records.

*Maintain a  leadership role assignment with direct care nursing staff.

*Full-time and part-time availability and shift may be altered to suit applicant/facility needs and will be discussed in interview.

*Required to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

Full-time status is achieved at 30 hours and includes benefits: health insurance, dental insurance and life insurance.  Both full-time and part-time positions allow participation in 401K and accrue paid time off (PTO).  PTO combines the time away from work traditionally given as vacation, personal, and holiday pay into a single integrated plan.

Wage is based on experience and will be discussed in the interview.

For the appropriate candidate wanting to work every weekend, an incentive of $2.00/hour will be added to the base wage with one weekend off per quarter.

(A Resident Care Technician must have a valid Nursing Assistant Certificate.)

Currently there is a FULL-TIME day shift opening:

*8 HOUR & 12 HOUR SHIFT AVAILABILITY – 6AM – 2P, or 6A – 6P

*12 HOUR SHIFT INCENTIVE; WORK 36 – GET PAID FOR 40.

*EVERY WEEKEND INCENTIVE; WORK EVERY WEEKEND ADD $2.00/HOUR TO BASE WAGE.

*All assigned shifts require the individual to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

*Requests for part-time will be considered and is under 30 hours per week.

*Part-time positions include Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual.

*Resident Care Technicians must be CNA certified.  These individuals will continue to provide traditional CNA cares and functions, but with a reduced resident-to-staff ratio, they will also be participating in the creation of care plans and providing activities for their group in an expanded role in order to provide better resident/patient care.

 

(A Resident Care Technician must have a valid Nursing Assistant Certificate.)

Currently there are FULL-TIME openings for the Evening (PM) shift:

*PM SHIFT – $.50/HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL ADDED TO BASE WAGE.

*8 HOUR SHIFT OPENINGS – 2PM-10PM

*EVERY WEEKEND INCENTIVE; WORK EVERY WEEKEND ADD $2.00/HOUR TO BASE WAGE.

*All assigned shifts require the individual to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

*Requests for part-time will be considered and is under 30 hours per week.

*12 HOUR SHIFT INCENTIVE; WORK 36 – GET PAID FOR 40.

*EVERY WEEKEND INCENTIVE; WORK EVERY WEEKEND ADD $2.00/HOUR TO BASE.

*All assigned shifts require the individual to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

*As a NOC Shift CNA the individual is primarily involved in getting the residents to bed, repositioning and personal cares of patients and residents, and restocking rooms.

*Part-time is considered under 30 hours per week and will allow for occasional shift pick-up.  Part-time positions include Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual.
