NEWCare has a 12 hour shift opening, 6 AM to 6 PM, for an Assistant Manager Caregiver at the Rost-Huebner House, a four bedroom Adult Family Home, effective immediately. If you enjoy helping others and would like to begin a career path in caregiving, this is a great place to start. The Caregiver position is designed to create an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, positive regard as well as a calm environment in a home-like setting and provides the residents with routine assistance and care like cooking, cleaning and personal cares. The Assistant Manager Caregiver performs Caregiver duties but has an administrative component added to their position that includes scheduling, ordering and supervisory tasks.

  • This full-time position is inclusive of the full benefit package.
  • Shifts are 12 hours and 36 hours per week.
  • Four hours will be added for additional administrative tasks.
  • Position requires individual to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

NEWCare Convalescent Center is in the process of hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for the evening (PM) shift. CNAs provide residents and patients with personal care and compassionate assistance, and through charting/documentation of the resident’s daily needs and services are the main contributor to the development of the resident’s care plan of treatment.

  • Shift can be 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
  • $1.50/hour shift differential applies from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  • $12.00 per hour starting wage may be negotiable based on experience.
  • This is a full-time position, but those interested in part-time should also apply.

Individuals are required to work every other weekend/every other holiday. Full-time status is gained by working 30 or more hours per week and includes insurance benefits, Paid Time Off (PTO), and 401k. Part-time positions will allow for shift pick-up and include the PTO and 401k benefits.

  • In a two week period the Live-In positions allows for three (3) 24 hour shifts one week and four (4) the next.
  • This full-time position is inclusive of the full benefit package.
  • Position requires individual to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

The appropriate inexperienced applicant will be trained on-the-job and classroom training will be paid by NEWCare. If you like to make a difference by helping those that need daily assistance and medical care, NEWCare has an opening available for a Licensed Practical Nurse, or a Registered Nurse to fill a evening (PM) Charge Nurse position.  A Charge Nurse will:

*Assess and monitor skilled nursing facility patient health problems.
*Administer nursing care.
*Implement care plans and maintain medical records.
*Maintain a  leadership role assignment with direct care nursing staff.

Shift hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  Wage is based on experience and will be discussed in the interview.  NEWCare offers a shift differential of $1.50/hour for the hours of 6:00 PM through 6:00 AM.

A full-time opening is available but inquiries for part-time and casual are welcome.  Part-time employees can acquire extra hours by picking up open shifts caused by vacations, appointments, and leaves.  Nursing staff is required to work every other weekend/every other holiday.

Full-time status is achieved at 30 hours and includes health, dental and life insurance benefits.  Both full-time and part-time positions allow participation in 401K and accrue paid time off (PTO).  PTO combines the time away from work traditionally given as vacation, personal, and holiday pay into a single integrated plan.
